About

Hilliard Ewing Designs is a small business born out of a passion for the fire service and first responder organizations and specifically the work that every one of their members do each and every day.

Hilliard Ewing Designs specializes in Challenge Coins, Collectables & More, which can be collected or given as a thank you to acknowledge the hard work of others such as first responders, or through corporate and business organizations. Challenge coins, medals, and collectables are also a great way to commemorate years of service or a special event such as an opening day or milestone anniversary, as well as a simple thank you to clients, attendees, or customers.

Hilliard Ewing is currently an IT professional working for an insurance group based in Nova Scotia, Canada and has served over 17 years in the Volunteer Fire Service in Nova Scotia, currently serving as a Captain in the Middleton Fire Department.

From his time in the Fire Service Hilliard has and still participates in Local, Provincial, and National associations for the volunteer fire service. This allowed him to not only make new friends and build relationships, but has also given him the opportunity to understand the challenges that fire departments face all across Canada. This is not lost on Hilliard when working with clients on their own projects within their department.

Hilliard has successfully owned and operated an IT business for many years before moving on to his current position; however, he began his working career as a Machinist using C&C Milling machines similar to the ones used in the coin making process.
